Vernon joined the firm in May 2024, initially supporting the
team as a virtual assistant with intakes, records retrieval, file setup, and
audits. Through hands-on training and mentorship, he quickly advanced into his
current role as a Pre-Litigation Paralegal.
He brings a strong medical background to personal injury
work. In his previous role in patient services for a medical company, he guided
patients through the process of qualifying for treatments and procedures,
addressed their questions and concerns, and helped them access the care they
needed. That experience provided a foundation in client communication, empathy,
and medical documentation that directly supports injured clients as they
recover.
Vernon earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the
University of Santo Tomas in Manila and obtained his professional license
before pursuing opportunities outside of traditional healthcare. His career
path has included positions in technical support, billing, training, and
customer service across industries such as software, credit,
telecommunications, and real estate. Exposure to these diverse fields
strengthened his ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and
deliver detail-oriented support throughout the legal process.
Outside of work, Vernon enjoys exploring new foods and
experiences, staying active at the gym, and finding ways to balance health and
wellness with adventure.
